There were tons of people this winter who had flu symptoms but tested negative. It’s been here a while.I think it's been in the US a while, honestly. I had the worst "cold" I've ever had back in December and early January- brutal cough, chest pain, inability to sleep, no drainage, all lungs, it felt like. Several friends of mine, both near me and further away, had the same thing.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch but it's odd.
That's exactly when I was sick. My brother, sister, aunt, and parents were sick too. None of us have been sick together and for that long. I don't necessarily think we had it, but who knows, it was a rough going. I did have a fever compared to you.I think it's been in the US a while, honestly. The N95 masks and hand sanitizer are issues of greed. People aren't trying to be sure they're healthy, they are trying to get rich.
The toilet paper is the same reason people buy milk and bread when they are calling for snow. It's just what we do. We are not going to run out of toilet paper in this country.
If you want to use any of those three things to judge how people really feel about this virus, you're kidding yourself.
I may have had a fever, I didn't check. I just loaded up on cold medicine and let it pass. I still had a little cough when I went to Mumbai, India (Jan. 12) and the guy I was working with got sick about 8-9 days later. That's exactly when I was sick. New message just released. Everyone in my department is to work from home. Anyone who can't work from home, just stay home (no PTO required). My department sent a message yesterday, new social distancing policy starts tomorrow. People are divided into team A or B. The team I was put on will work from home Mon-Wed and go into the office Thurs-Fri this week. Then switches the following week.
Interested to see who is all on Team A or B. I know my official team has been put on the same team A and we are spread out in four states. Some official teams are all in the same location, so did they split those up or what.

I replied to your earlier post. I've also taken a LOT of Sudafed the past few months as well. It's something different for sure.I may have had a fever, I didn't check. I just loaded up on cold medicine and let it pass. I still had a little cough when I went to Mumbai, India (Jan. 12) and the guy I was working with got sick about 8-9 days later.
EDIT: my wife, however, did not get sick... But she never does.
That's why I'm negative. We're actually trying to leave this area- we've had about the worst experience I've ever had in my professional career here, with local government and business culture. And my day job is working contracts at the federal level!
Again, I've already mentioned my distaste for the WHO. They repeatedly let China off the hook (their leadership said China did a great job with this! Really?) and they've done an incredibly poor job of relaying information to national governments and assisting in the procurement of supplies- the two things they exist for.
Now, the entire concentration of cases in Italy are almost all in the northern region, where the age averages higher. That's a factor. Next, you can't blame a shortage of ventilators purely on being overwhelmed- other countries, even those with socialized medicine (France, Germany, Japan) aren't seeing the level of chaos that Italy has (why don't you point at those?). Not being prepared for epidemics, not having the capacity to deal with it, not having enough staff on hand, that sounds like the VA to me. Hence my example.
You point to Italy as an example of what will apparently inevitably happen in the US, but ignore everywhere else where things are in relative control.
I have a 15 year old, and 12 year old daughters at home, I get itEveryone should already know this. If you have anyone under age 21 in your house, even if only a few days a week, there is no such thing as having to much toilet paper.
There's a lot of bugs around that never get diagnosed. Probably different morphs of the common cold. Difference is hardly anyone gets serious complications from it. These exotic viruses that come out of that cesspool named China are very different.
I would definitely get checked out tomorrow. This is what is concerning me an my wife the most. What me and my wife have does not feel like a cold or the flu. This is like something neither of us have ever experienced in our 50 years. I don't really know how to describe it. Symptoms are not linear, one minute I feel as I am getting better only to have trouble breathing an hour later. At times it is like carrying an extra 10 lbs in your chest. I can carry a case of water up from the garage and be fine but run out of breath telling my wife I brought up a case of water from the garage.
Let it out man. I post so much to let my stress out. My wife has a load of health issues, and I stay stressed. I pray a lot, and come on here and acr a foolIf I am allowed I will but right now I am just using this thread as a coping mechanism to go along with the wine. For some reason wine has treated the symptoms better than any over the counter medicine.
