He seems to be coming to grips with reality, slowly anyway. I really wish he'd drop the "we are the best" label to everything. It's just tired at this point. But that's stylistic. Hope his speech translates into real action.

The USofA is the best. We are the best to tackle any crisis. We'll tackle this one as well.
 
What’s the point of letting people assemble only to tell them to leave?
These businesses are only doing this for two reasons:

1) to look like they are “doing something” so the Karen’s on Facebook can’t complain about them
2) because they want to avoid frivolous lawsuits from the typical lawyer ambulance chasers

Both are ridiculous
 
I guess on cargo it comes back to the virus survival time outside of a host? Anybody know what that time is? Might exclude air freight but not the more common maritime cargo.

Same. I rewound it to make sure I heard right. Pretty sure he said this includes cargo.

That puts a ton of uncertainty in my industry. I imagine cargo companies are going to be getting on the phone to make sure the cargo portion is really needed. 30 days is a long time.

Why would you exclude the UK? It’s not based on numbers.

Also, what about what we’re doing here in this country to curb the spread? What about expedited testing?
