I’m wondering how it’s gonna affect sports this year. They’re already starting to shut down classes at campuses and moving to online stuff
SP+ thinks we’ll have a better defense this year than Alabama. SP+ is usually less favorable toward us than FPI. In fact this year, according to SP+, in regards to our schedule, only Florida and Georgia are expected to have better defenses. On the other side of the ball SP+ thinks there are 7 teams on our schedule with at least a marginally better offense. Our offense is expected to be better than Furman, Missouri, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt. Charlotte, Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, and Troy are all expected to have somewhat better offenses that us. Obviously we expect our defense to win against Charlotte, Kentucky, and Troy but we need a much better offense of our own if we’re going to compete with Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. I hate to admit this before practice even starts but I'm really hoping Bailey is able to significantly distance himself from the other QBs and take the job outright. jmo.

-The AthleticOther notes from Tennessee’s first day of spring
• Inside linebacker is the biggest position of need for the Vols, especially with Quavaris Crouch sidelined for the spring after undergoing shoulder surgery. Henry To’o To’o was the first linebacker through drills on Tuesday, and Solon Page III and converted defensive back Aaron Beasley were second and third, respectively. J.J. Peterson, the highest-rated signee in Tennessee’s 2018 class, was working near the back half of the group, behind at least one walk-on.
• Cooper Mays is one of four early enrollees from Tennessee’s 2020 class, but he will not participate in spring practice after undergoing surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot. Pruitt noted on Tuesday he expected him to compete for playing time, but Mays first suffered the injury last season and played most of his senior season at Knoxville Catholic with the injury before having it repaired shortly after he joined the Vols.
• Defensive lineman Darel Middleton, who faces misdemeanor charges of domestic assault and public intoxication stemming from an incident earlier this month, practiced on Tuesday. Pruitt said his punishment will be handled internally.
• Jordan Allen was the lone position change on Tennessee’s roster. The former junior college signee who’s played sparingly at edge rusher and missed last season with a groin injury is now working as a tight end.
Going by the mortality statistics, it might not be a bad idea to bar admission to anyone over 60. It might not slow down the spread of the disease, but at least you wouldn't be killing off any old folks.I’m wondering how it’s gonna affect sports this year. Just saw that Applebees is offering .25 cent boneless wings for a limited time. Nice gesture for a five star establishment to help out the middle class.
