Without any further county knowledge forthcoming, it appears my high risk grandkids will be having an extended spring break. Looks like home schooling time.

Very true, however a grandchild had a cold that turned into bronchitis and while under treatment for that she coughed so much and so hard she tore a hole in her lung. Spending that whole Christmas Day at the children’s hospital was not a high point for her and while we were told it would eventually heal naturally, she’d always have a weak spot in that lung and be prone to respiratory issues. Every school year now we constantly fight against bronchitis, since major coughing can tear it again, and just aren’t willing to take chances with her health.

Staffer is sick and now staying home but was in the school all last week in contact with many students and other staff members. They are closing the school for 2 days out of precaution.
