Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I see that a 100 year old Chinese man RECOVERED from the virus and has been released from the hospital.
El as a lefty you are not supposed to be bringing positivity to the discussion. But that's awesome if a 100 y/o beat the virus. You got a like

They don't understand that its a different version of earlier viruses. They would rather believe that its 1) all a conspiracy to hurt Trump; or 2) all a conspiracy to help China. Like Trump, they insist its being overblown, despite what the professionals say.

But, when we had actual affirmative proof of the Russians interfering in the '16 election, and trying to interfere now? Nah, that's fake news!

So we should hold the Obama administration responsible for the 16 "interference" lol. I love it. Please keep beating this drum. It's working out well for your party

What is missing from that article is the objective reality that Trump, in particular, has downplayed the significance of the virus. That just does not make any sense given what the professionals in the government have to say about it.

He does not have to be alarmist, but he should be honest about it. Every time people in government who actually do know what is going on have to correct what he says it damages his credibility and reduces confidence that he is up to the task.

Are there really professionals in the government? We were told that Vindman was professional.

I think on the science end of things, yes. This Dr. Fauci guy seems to have real credibility on both sides of the aisle. And, he has walked back and/or corrected a number of Trump's false claims over the last week.

Which means Trump will fire him soon.

So far no repots of the virus in the big easy. Probably so much alcohol in their bodies and street it's self cleansing.
No official reports, but there is this...

The state of Louisiana has tested 5 people, all negative, so it's probably all clear, right?

So he compares one year death figures to two week figures, as though they are the same sample size. And then he assumes infection spread numbers that are the same, which is off by a multiple of 26 (two weeks versus a year).

Such a dope.
