2020 Presidential Race

It’s just odd that somebody goes from a state representative to failed Senate candidate with financial baggage to VP short list. It’s not like she’s got any sort of national credentials, name ID or even has much of a story.
Even crazier is the fact that Biden needs someone with experience to take over when they have to do the 25th Amendment thing on him.

Well it’s highly probable that whoever the VP is, assuming Biden wins, will become POTUS before 2024. What better reason to have ole Stacey on deck if your agenda is identity driven?

Yeah, but it would set the world on fire for some I suppose....don't forget the Dems are that low.
I wouldn’t actually rule it out although its not gonna be Joe Biden who makes that decision. He will be told by his handlers who his running mate will be, and he’ll like it. But the probability of Hillary is practically nil IMO unless you let her decide.

Biden will be told, and will have to be reminded who it is.

Whose the puppet master I keep seeing referenced but not named? The one who made Amy and Pete drop out. The one who is apparently naming Biden’s VP pick for him. Please don’t just throw out Soros.
They've worked themselves up in a Red Hat lather, no reasoning with them now.

No one really cares who. Not many care if it is Biden or Bernie. Most are probably glad it isn't a communist/socialist and therefore are relieved that the democrat establishment rallied behind Biden to push him ahead, probably for good. I mean to say, most are relieved that a communist does not have a good chance now to be the candidate chosen for President. That would be real bad for the country.

But aren't any of you just a bit curious as to the timing of the Buttigieg/Klobuchar pull out just days ahead of the Super Tuesday primaries? Not just a little?

I already said why Pete dropped out. Believe it or don't.

I missed it. What was it and wasn't it a surprise to you after attending his Nashville rally? That must have been devastating.

So, still not knowing your reason for Pete, you got one for Klobuchar?

Was all this just fortunate timing, IYO?

Yes, it was a huge surprise to me at the time. We knew the math wasn't good for us, but most of us thought he'd stay in until after Super Tuesday. He didn't.

"The best news for Democrats in the Super Tuesday results may not be the surge of Joe Biden, or Bernie Sanders hanging on, or even Mike Bloomberg dropping out (although I am personally extra thrilled about that). No, the best news is the record and near record turnout of Democratic voters all across the country. Whoever the eventual nominee is, it’s clear that Democrats are fired up and ready to vote to defeat Donald Trump.
In Virginia, Democratic primary turnout was the highest on record, surpassing the previous record set in 2008. In fact, 23% of registered Virginians cast ballots on Super Tuesday, which almost doubled primary turnout from 2016.

Utah saw a turnout in Tuesday’s Democratic primary that eclipsed previous turnout for any primary held in the state, among Democrats or Republicans.

In North Carolina, voter turnout was also up over 2016 numbers. And early voting had a strong surge — with almost twice as many Democrats in the state casting early ballots compared with Republicans. "
