Didn’t reach his potential top level imo. Mainly due to being so dominant by brute force. Always faulted Kobe for breaking up that lethal combo, but in retrospect Bryant demanded perfection from himself and his TEAMMATES like no other player in NBA history...yes even Jordan. O’Neal cost himself some numbers by not being in top shape and it irritated KB beyond reason.

LeBron is probably the most athletically gifted and most overall talented player I've ever seen.

My pick is Jordan for one reason. Put MJ in LBJs body and he would have still been dominant, probably even more so. Put LBJ in Jordan's body and he would have still been good but probably not all-time great.

I couldn't stand Kobe but there is a case to be made for putting him over LBJ. No case for putting him over MJ.

Can't ignore Jabbar and that sky hook. My personal favorite is Bill Russell. Hated the Celtics, but loved his game. Especially how he took shot blocking to another lever. Instead of slapping the ball into the stands and screaming like an idiot, he'd try to block it to a teammate so they could get out on a fast break.

Then there's big O. Oscar averaged a triple double for a career. The guy I loved watching more than any other was the doctor. Guy would elevate and just never come down. Just floated forever and was so damned smooth.

I wanted to go ahead and get this post out of the way because from here on out and starting with the beginning of spring practice next week it’s likely that most of my posts going forward regarding our 2020 season will be in support of the how and why we actually end up 15-0. TIFWIW.

The most impressive thing to me about our 2019 team is once we turned it around we were able to win a number of low scoring games. Aside from the heroics of the defense I think that also speaks to the character of the team that Pruitt is building. Having said that, we need to figure out a way to score some dat gum points on offense. jmo.

Agree about the offense. But I'd contend that if our qb situation.... Isn't a situation this year that would help offset some of your concern about the opponents.

The big positive is the o line. If you got one of those your have a chance. And I think we have one.

It's insane how many other schools made a switch and alleviated at least, that concern.

While we rotate thru 3.. and tho the issues are different, the results were the same.

Terrible. Prayers for all the people up there-- I know there are quite a few from VN who live in that area.

Really interesting breakdown. I think something that is not included (and I have no idea how you would include it) is that most of our talent last year was freshman and sophomores. I think a lot of optimism for next year is that these players would expect more improvement than a returning junior. It would be cool to try to quantify.
