I'm with you. We don't know if the .gov is putting funding in the right places. FEMA should have an entire warehouse of portable emergency equipment to deal with anything like this. If they have the stores of supplies they really aren't breaking them out in past emergencies. We really don't know what they have. Considering tax dollars pay for such things and this does not fall under the infamous blanket of "national security" this should be one of the most transparent agencies. They are not.
Anyone in the medical community have any thoughts on this?
No children under 10 appear to have died from the coronavirus, even though kids have been infected
Thank you#1: Kids and healthy young adults always fare much better than the elderly with respiratory viruses. Mortality numbers are skewed significantly upward by the 60+ population.
#2 (theory only): Coronaviruses commonly cause colds, and school-aged children are more likely to have been recently infected with one or more strains. It's possible that there is some cross-protection immunity offered by recent experience to a similar strain.
