Lol... I used to love it. He didn’t want to be there and he just wasn’t going to suffer through repeatedly explaining things to goober fans. It was like the call screener was trying to make Skip have a stroke every single day.

Is it really that bad? I think there was a time when he wasn’t as good as he needed to be, but in the past few years, I think he’s actually gotten better, and it’s definitely better with Joe moved to the radio side.

Probably because he’s been here forever and his personality is meh. He’s better since Joe left true. But I wouldn’t mind a new PxP guy. But I also know since he’s Skip’s son he’ll be there forever

Sounds like the same criticism Bob Kesling gets. It’s probably valid but it seems like it’s just kind of the cookie cutter way play by play has gone the past 20 years. Since Skip and Pete stopped doing TV 10-15 years ago, I think the best they’ve had was Jon Sciambi.

The comp wasn’t charles barkley production. It was dropping charles barkley into today’s NBA and saying what can he do effectively do? It was dumb and will always be dumb.
