You are assigning feelings to others and you have no clue. Most normal people are likely completely happy with their insuranceThey’re complacent, not happy. I don’t think people care about who they send their money too, as long as they are fully covered. Unless they have this wierd obsession with Aetna or BCBS.
Correct, not to mention the additional government regulations like the ones CMS created that helped fuel the opioid crisis to being with. There are several reasons that hospitals, physicians and nurses by far are against “universal healthcare”. They know what disasters it would causeLet's project this for a moment. If everyone gets free healthcare, no deductibles, no co-pays, no paperwork...can you imagine what that'll do to our system? People will be going for every runny nose and endless checkups, tests etc. We don't have the doctors/hospitals to handle that. The wait times would be out of this world. Doctor's pay will go way down and they'll be working their butts off. Ditto for nurses and others in the field. It'd be a disaster. People will be begging for the old system.
My mother (on Medicare/gap plan) fell and broke her hip last summer. She was taken to the ER right away. X-rayed, admitted and had the surgery 24 hrs later. You think it'd happen like that under Bernie's plan? Hell no. This is why many of us want a private option. In case his plan screws this thing up, I want another way to go

Yep. Just look at England. The waits are outrageous and the quality of care has gone down.
So the poor have "free" health care and if you are not poor, you are free to buy private insurance?????I have a buddy in another forum from the U.K. , he is always on me about the U.S. not having free health care . When I try to hit him up with links or facts about their free health care system he tells me that he doesn’t have that garbage , his is through private insurance and the free crap is for poor people that can’t carrots the good insurance. Smh

Yeah, that really sounds like a horrible system.
And to think, their cost per capita is about half of ours and their life expectancy is higher. The horrors!!!!!!
I bet that is rather fun and educational. You talk about all sorts of topics or mostly politics?
So how in the world is their per capita health care costs so much less than ours? Ours is twice as high than pretty much every country in the world. That's the elephant in the room that every debate tries to avoid. You missed the garbage comment . They have “ free health care “ that they get ripped having to pay taxes for and it’s garbage. He has the good insurance.. private . Sounds like something we are trying to install here . Higher taxes for all for junk insurance ran by the government .

Have you ever considered this?...So how in the world is their per capita health care costs so much less than ours? Ours is twice as high than pretty much every country in the world. That's the elephant in the room that every debate tries to avoid.
And that whole life expectancy thing.Because we offer the best Drs. , some of best health care , some of the best equipment, some of the best diagnosis and cure . Not counting the fact that most of the R&D for everything comes from the U.S. . Until you find another country that you can compare that to , side by side , using the same metrics .. it’s all just propaganda.
No, never.
And that whole life expectancy thing.
