It came out in 63-64 . It was a very early film with that stop motion and real actor interaction .

Moviedom peaked with "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" in 1957. " The Creature from the Black Lagoon" was a classic also, but that was 1954.

I agree with you to an extent. I like the old movies story telling and characters. Once over the top action sequences and explosions became the norm, the story and character development suffered.
If Casablance or the Maltese Falcon are on the TV, I'm watching them, again.

Agree totally. I like to watch old movies because they depend upon a plot and character development, rather than blowing sh!t up.

I will never act old if I've made it 70 years without doing it. I take very little seriously because there is so little that one actually has under their control. I don't sweat the small stuff because it's pretty much all small stuff.

That was a really good one...did anyone else find themselves hoping Norman Bates wouldn't get caught disposing of the car in the lake in Psycho? That's some great character development to feel for a killer imo
