Saw him a couple times last season. Makes big plays against really good competition. Don't let the "outside" fool ya. He's not just a possession receiver. Kid has speed (4.5) and is very athletic. Definite want in my book.

He’s one of the top 5 receivers in TN but he’s not very fast ran 4.6-4.7 last week. It’s his route running and his understanding of the game that makes him a hell of a receiver on the high school level.

WR recruiting is really going to be interesting this year, as I expect the staff to be ultra-selective with this position. As a result, I think kids like Merrill, who would likely be takes most years, will get left out.
