Official Major League Soccer/US Men's National Team Thread

Need to start with the people at US Soccer who thought this would be a good hire or else the replacement will be another coach who thinks their process is more important than winning matches.
USMNT = Tennessee football
The people in the federation who look at the USMNT as a way to promote MLS = Haslams

The similarities are uncanny, even down to the fanbases. The USMNT isn't any good, and the fans know deep down they aren't all that good, but that doesn't keep them from talking themselves into getting really optimistic about their chances. Also, the team isn't overly talented, but that doesn't explain losing to Canada. Exact same thing as Tennessee.

Earnie Stewart, one of my all time favorite National Team players, failed in the coaching search.

I am a fan of Twellman, he isn't afraid to speak his mind and he was fired up last night.

I'll never root against my country but I'm not going to be super upset if they lose tonight if it meant HCGB would be fired
