I liked his SB halftime show, but never been a big fan. Think he is more infamous for sexualizing the industry than his music, but his music is still good. Just not really my thing. 80s are too weird for me.
Hendrix
Gilmour
Santana
Clapton
BB King (any King really)
Chet Atkins
Jerry Reed
Duane Allman
Chuck Berry
Django Reinhardt
If there are any modern guitarist that belong near the top 5, it’s Derek Trucks and Julian Lage. Jmo of course. Jack White is still really good. Nowhere near my top 5 though.
Personally, I like Albert king better than B.B. Have you ever heard the recording where B.B. tells the story of "Lucille"?Hendrix

I seen him in a small venue.About 5000 people and he was insane. Played for nearly 2 1/2 hours and played every instrument on stage. One of the few concerts I have ever been to that I left feeling it was worth every penny and then some.Opinions vary. I think he often gets overlooked as a musician because he is considered pop, and most of that genre is associated more with manufactured sound than actual musicianship. Pretty sure he wrote all of his own songs, and if I remember right, played every single instrument himself on some of his tracks. I like everything I’ve ever heard by him, and that’s typically not my thing at all. Dude was indeed strange, but he was also a musical genius.
Because Bryce was unavailable. Some unforgivable offense that ESPN was going to be writing about forever...been awhile so I forget.Still think Taylor is best suited for safety but I do see you point. Burrell looked lost this season. Sure seems as tho the coaches wanted Burrell to take that spot. They kept him out there for several wks.
It was very cool and I totally agree he was a little weird but was a musical genius. Him playing half time of the super bowl in a monsoon was incredible. Not very many artist would have performed during that. While small in stature at 5.6 or so .The man was 10 ft tall and bullet proof on stage. He definitely owned it.Very cool.
He played 27 instruments or something like that and wrote his songs plus a lot of other songs for other people. He was definitely a musical genius which is one reason why I think he was weird (most really intelligent people are a little weird.)Opinions vary. Thanks for asking. I was going to post an update today. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and for praying for her and my family.
She is better. She went in Friday like she was on heroin or something. Wouldn't wake up. Would wince in pain with at any touch. Would cry out in pain if we tried to move her at all. After several rounds of IV antibiotics she alert almost to the point where she doesn't sleep at all or at least to appear not to sleep. I had a sleepless night Saturday night as instated with her and she was very agitated all night.
They think the infection (UTI) is under control but she doesn't seem to have the ability to walk. She's plenty strong so we think it's just the progression of the disease. She's definitely regressed mentally the last 3-4 weeks. They are bring in PT today to see if they can get her walking again. If she can't walk, we've got some serious and tough decisions to make as a family. My dad can't care for her by himself without her having the ability to walk despite his desire to do so.
Everyone's continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Its definitely a very tough time for our family.
That is not why Burrell was out there instead of Taylor. Taylor was dealing with severe hip pain the first part of the season. He took back over his starting position, because he slowly got healthier as the year progressed.Still think Taylor is best suited for safety but I do see you point. Burrell looked lost this season. No knock on Taylor just stated an opinion still say his best position is safety. He just doesn’t look natural at CB to me. Go VOLSThat is not why Burrell was out there instead of Taylor. I don’t disagree with a thing you said!Opinions vary.
