I'm already getting text messages from Dem candidate camps. I don't understand why they do that. If I am active enough to have my phone number show up on some list somewhere, chances are that I am not going to be influenced by a random text a few years later.

Text maybe , but what if they started sending you memes ? Would that change your mind ?

I got a text from a Bernie supporter asking for my support. I told her I'm not a fan and if I were to vote for a democrat, it would be Tulsi. She then asked if I had a second choice but I never answered.

That is actually 14 times smaller than 0.4%. In truth, the election was so close that almost any factor people point out has a strong case for being a factor if looked at in isolation.

The best way to avoid these maddening scenarios is to win decisively by fighting for every vote like a junk yard dog. Hillary never really got that, so history will now remember her as the idiot who lost to Trump.
