Don’t know many older stadiums with a great bathroom situation. Currie had secured a large amount for improvements. I know the number of seats were slated to be decreased to increase comfort. I’m sure most were cosmetic in nature.

wasn't there something about widening some of hte walk ways/concourses, and improving the "get around" to the stadium...escalators, ramps etc...?

We’ve lost enough seats in my opinion.if anymore seats are taken,I will not be a fan of that at all

eh, we stood the whole game anyways. didn't really matter to us.

and for the last half dozen years or so, there's been plentyyyyy of room in the student section.....lol.

it is one of the benefits of travelling in these days with the family...i park at the hotel, and never get back in my car til it's time to leave town

it's probably been 10 years since i've actually parked for a game....usually parked somewhere behind the strip or Ft. Sanders.

still a pain.

alternative...........buy a boat.

But tbf, I said my favorite posters say what they believe even if it's unpopular. I don't want to be a hypocrite, also.

Always felt that way but the "our culture" comment reinforced.
AV saying it was definitely all an act and he was one of the biggest fake pos in CFB, removed any reservations I had.

yeah, i was taking the hypocrite angle fo sho with my call back to Mr. Ray's adamaent calls to rise above hate, just before he trashes "insert player here" wiht a fleury of obscentities.

i have no doubt Dabo is fake.

i just don't hate him for it. i think most coaches are fake.

well, 'cept Pruitt. he da realist.

Understand. And ftr, I don't HATE him. But that particular fault is a personal pet peeve.
Had a family member married to a minister. The guy was on the pulpit every Sunday and Wednesday night. He was also ripping off customers, cheating on his wife and taking his guys to strip clubs in every out of town trip. Pick 1 or the other but when it comes to doing both, not a fan.

Student section is important but so is 100k + fans.i just know the students don’t hold back at all verses other fans lol probably because of age difference,family not being there or just being highly intoxicated but I appreciate the student body though.personally I’d like the student section be behind the field goal post on both ends and give the recruits the student section seats so they can get more of the fan atmosphere feel at every home game.the student section seats could be big money for the university if they chose to change it but I doubt they will.

It’s awesome being able to claim 102,000 plus capacity, but I’d trade that cred for obliviousness to knowledge of the guy seated behind me being Jewish or otherwise.

Well... to be perfectly honest, I've given neither a thought nor a damn about the comfort of the student section since it stopped being my section decades ago.

As for croots, if we put them in the student section we'd need to plant a small buffer of controlled people around them. You want them to feel the atmosphere but not the vomit.

Totally get it. My bs meter usually pegs out when I get involved with anyone that seems to try that hard to make whatever kind of impression, be it religious, political etc...

That and times have just changed. High def flatscreens have won over many casual fans. 102 sounds good but doesn't look great when 85% of the games never see over 85-90. Usually less.

I'm ok with making it a better experience for the die hard attendees.
