No one is attempting to take your right to own a gun away. What's truly disingenuous is any claim otherwise.
I find it mind blowingly selfish and short-sighted when someone is more concerned with being able to purchase their 12th AR-15 from the local gun barn with no delay or hassle than they are with the long term protection of the environment.

It's death by a thousand cuts. In VA you have the registration. loother wants enhanced background checks.... They want to know where every legal, law abiding gun owner is, and how many of whatever they have. Then there will be the next phase.

I said diminishing your 2A rights. Unlimited purchase of guns is not a right granted in 2A.
2A - A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
No politician is threatening to infringe on your right to keep and bear arms, which is the only right you have been granted by 2A.

Except it actually is guaranteed since the constitution is a limit placed on govt not a baseline from which to start creating laws. Limits infringe by definition
