Having grown up in South Texas, I have always been a fan of the franchise. The only problem was "the old man". Never could stand him and always thought that he was the main reason the oilers could never be a winner. I was optimistic that their prospects would improve.Haha. I was all in when they got here, I mean 110. When the old man died and the rest of the organization just seemed to not give 1 single damn, I couldn't handle it.
If they were really trying, I'd been right there. But with the UT AD already doing the same, just more than I could take. Didn't switch teams, I just turned the whole league off.
(Except for occasionally, accidentally, peeking at the score in the 4th)

I've always honestly hoped that the family would sell the Titans. I was really hoping that Peyton would become the frontman ownerWell I didn't think he was great or anything. And he's only been dead 6 or 7 years but was not running things well before that.
Unless the kid's plan included appearing incompetent for 15 years, they've just not inspired any confidence in me until now.
