2020 Presidential Race

Zep mayor Pete should lay the blame where it belongs on Iran and stop trying to score political points off innocent people who Iran says were inadvertently shot down because of a barking dog set off an alarm? Come on Peter you are better than this
I didn't read it as Pete blaming Trump, but like 37LI said, I am admittedly biased. But to be fair, he didn't say "this is Trump's fault." He has been critical of how the situation was handled, but he hasn't directly blamed Trump. Pete has been critical of both sides, and I think that is a good discussion for him to have.

So somebody (Zep) needs to ask him a direct question and let's see how he does.

I look forward to hearing about the campaign experience from someone involved first hand Zep
Just a snap shot of my night. I'm currently text banking voters in Iowa. We've got about 16,000 folks to text, about halfway done so far after about 20 minutes. Not entirely me, obviously. Anyone nationwide can text bank for Pete. Only reason I'm hanging on VN tonight as well, I didn't have any phone calls to make tonight. That will pick back up over the weekend.

Just another bit about the campaign. We contacted 105,000 voters via text in Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, and South Carolina since last night. 16,000 contacts tonight in about 30 minutes. This campaign is far from "death throws" as described.

Here is my favorite ad for Pete. @LouderVol , I wanted them to run this everywhere they could, but they kept it to Tweet. We ended up going a different way, depending on the state.
Hasn't stopped me from sharing the hell out of it.

Question. How are you (the campaign) getting these cell phone numbers? Are they party members or what?

I really wish we could start using better metrics than how much huge corporations rake in for profits. An indirect measure of general economic health, at best.

Only if we do the same for huge corporations losing tons of money when it drops and people say our economy stinks .
