So we're surrounded by all these powerhouse teams, recruiting rankings not up there with theirs.
Had a rough start to finish 7-5 and make a bowl. Get freaking Indiana and barely pull it out.

Yet, somehow, it feels like we got ALL the momentum heading into the off season, haha.
Life as a TN fan, there's just nothing like it.

Sometimes I miss Tennessee talk radio. Then somebody mentions HH or Ainge and I stop missing it. Can’t believe that Sarah Mitchell never got a chance to hang around Knoxville sports. She was at least competent at her job.

It's been rumored already. He's already done about all he can at Clemson, and if he thinks he needs one more year in college to up his draft stock, why not do it a place where his dad is a legend and would actually be his coach?

Both! When I listen to Nashville radio, I listen to 104.5 more than 102.5 but I listen to both. 104.5 at least has some good radio guys on there. Just too much Titans and Predators. 102.5 has bad radio guys and bad topics most all the time

Well, 104.5 is in Nashville and the two teams you mentioned are the professional teams in that city, so, to me, that makes sense. None of the shows are perfect and can be criticized for different things, but this shouldn't be one of them IMO. All 3 of their main shows have at least two dedicated TN "guests" (Hyams, Hubbs, Doug Matthews, AP, Simonton, Swain....and not to mention CLow and the other college sports people each show has on) and 2/3 of the shows are hosted by TN alum. I'm not sure how much more TN coverage you can reasonably expect from them.

Yes, but he also played Big 12 and Pac 12 defenses at his other schools. He may get better talent, but he will also play more talented defenses.

It's all relative, right? He will recruit better at Ms St than WSU, if only because of local talent, but will also face better talent.

He had THE WORST paper talent in the Pac-12 this year. Dead last 2 of the last 3, and the one year they weren't last...they were 2nd to last.

For context, Miss St was at least 10th/14 team 2 of the last 3 years...and this year they were 9th, plus they were above 2 SECW teams (OMU and Arkansas) and their permanent cross divisional opponent (UK).

So, he is actually in a better relative position.

Sorry had to disappear...bi-product of the DW situation and my old friend KS attempting to screw us in more ways than one. Needless to say we am not playing nice anymore after this last attempt by the pups to get us in trouble.

DW UGA smoke had always come from the fact ga had the coach in their pocket....we had been working the mom and it turns out that was our biggest mistake. Throughout the process it was clear our staff had the best relationship with her and DW..... but in the end for a kid in his position it purely came down to taking a better deal which I can’t really blame him. I knew the day after he got home from his official he wasn’t coming here but we were not going to spoil his moment regardless...we are not going to burn bridges like CKS is doing. We see where that is finally catching up. And to that point...there is more change and instability coming uga’s way on the coaching front....just puts a smile on my face.

It would have been great to have a talent like DW here but the fact is we will win these battles more than we loose from now on and if you can’t see that Tenn is back then GTFO.

Wow that is quite the honor! I certainly appreciate the gesture...the real kudos goes to @Freak for the job they do here. Now if we could just get all the UGA guys out of here sniffing around and reporting back to their “guys” we would be fine.
