That’s not what it is... 🤦🏽‍♂️

You said you use an R of 5%. That pretty aggressive. What is your system expectancy? How would you characterize your trading style? Is your system more mechanical or discretionary? Do you have a primary mentor?

Don't forget "Do you have a 5 year back-tested system?"

"Do you have a 5 year back-tested system?" I think is most important. And proper capitalization.

Five year backtest is nice, but you can curve fit the snot out of any system.

Capitalization is relative in FX. That's why expectancy and R (as a percentage) are critical. The next thing I'd want to know is SQN. With the right expectancy and SQN he'll do great. Wrong answers and he's just waiting for the bus that's gonna hit him eventually.

All I got out of this is blah blah, I'm dumb, (not you, I really mean me,) and stick to normal stocks and options.

Oh, and someone's getting hit by a bus.

(Can I give you some cash, and you turn me into a millionaire in about 5 or 10 years? Actually I'll take a couple hundred G to payoff the house. Doesn't even have to be a cool million.)

I wish I knew what you and @Devo182 were talking about in terms of investing. I mean that without any sarcasm.
