Not directed toward you bringing it, Suave. But "reporting" is just sad. The only thing related to the subject was Hyams Tweet. Everything else just a history of Martin.
But at least now I know he used to play here🙄

None taken brotha...my name isn’t on the article👀😁 so I’m cool.I just bring it here because it’s related..real journalism is dead @chargervol 🤜🏽🤛🏽

rewatching this game (because it’s always fun to roll uscjr) and noticing the 2-5 at the bottom. Had you told me then we’d end up 8-5, I never would’ve believed if.View attachment 252256

I bet this game ends up being the catalyst to the decade of the Vols.

Must have said..no, declared.. 20 times over the off season that we didn't hire Jim Chaney to lose 7 games.
Vols had me considering eating my words then pulling a Ziti. Thank you staff and team!

If we'd gone the direction that most expected at that point, I'm not sure Pruitt is still here. Would've been massive pressure to reboot with Arky and MSU both pulling the trigger after two seasons. I don't know what happens next, but it looks like Pruitt would have to have an epic meltdown to not be here for a 4th season.

Fulmer is more sane and practical than that and knows what he hired in Pruitt.

Tua is still a top 5 picks on most boards. I think that’s crazy with his injury history, but if you’re Tua, you have to go pro. Way more risk than reward with playing another season.

If I was an NFL team I would have every expert I could get to give me their opinion of his condition before I threw top 5 money at him. The bad thing is that they may not have all the information by draft time. Also, top 5 QB’s are expected to play early. I’m not sure that he wouldn’t be better off sitting at least half of next season. If healthy and is not injury prone he is worth top 5 money for sure.

Watch him fall to the Pats and Belichick turn him into a top 10 QB

Will be shocked if his name is called in the top 10 of the draft.
i think he's probably already done his homework. if the injury stuff was going to be enough to where he'd lose THAT much money by coming our early vs. staying and proving his "health", he'd stay.

plus, depending on how healthy he is, there's combine, pro days, and team work outs he'll participate in.

i think you'd be a fool not to question his durability if you're an NFL exec....but you'd also be a fool not to verify for yourself either.

not sure what the QB need is right now for teams atop the draft, other than it should be a no brainer for the Bengals to take burrow. past that.......? Chargers looking for an heir apparent for Rivers...possible. i've seen some Mocks that think the Dolphins take him....

anyway, i'm not worried about it. i am glad he's not coming back.....that much i'm sure of.

Just looked at the stats for the LSU game this weekend. Didn’t get to watch the game.
What in the hell is going on with Jordan Bowden this season? Is it a simple case of him needing to be a 3rd/4th option instead of the top guy?

QBs don't make the big bucks until the 2nd contract anyway, as is the case for most players with the new union agreements.

Top 5 make big money, but even then the "total value" isn't anywhere close to the sort of outrageous deals that used to be given to rookies.

Tua's not entering the draft this year because he wants to be a top pick, he's hoping to slip to a better team in the mid to late round and spend a year being paid to rehab.

yeah, i think so.

no big man, so around the rim, we're in a mis match sitaution pretty much every game out in the conference.

we're not good enough at the point right now, though i did like some of the stuff i saw from the new guy....he's got potential and will get better as they get used to playing with each other.

and we're not a great shooting team. we miss lay ups and don't have anyone that consistently hit jump shots....we're not an overly difficult team to defend. i think teams are fine with giving pons his, and taking away everyone else....which is basically bowden. i'm still waiting on JJJ to be more impactful. i think he's really good, don't get me wrong....(i really wish he could have been on last year's team, and am looking forward to seeing what he does in year two with the guys coming in)

two things that we have going for us:
1. the effort is still there despite not getting the results on the offensive end
2. we still play defense...it's not quite as good as we've seen the last couple of years, but defense is still there.

if we can ever figure out how to do some scoring, we'll give some folks problems. if we don't, we're an easy out.

3rd thing we have going for us...........help is on the way next season.

oh i know, but there's a difference in being a top 5-10 pick and a 2nd + round pick. even with the rookie cap.

plus he'll be able to cash in on his brand now, regardless.
