No...that’s a narrative. He’s a former OL coach who likes to coordinate the offense to the OL’s strengths...kinda like DeBord did. He touches base with all the units but is big on working with the QB. Osovet is another coaching mind who would be useful on field and has great relationships with the Qb’s he’s coached. His first signal caller learned the ins and outs of the RPO based offense as Osovet innovated it (didn’t even have a name for it yet).I dont disagree with Chaney handling the QBs but isnt he already picking up the slack for Friend with the OL?
