You think you have all the answers then you are made responsible for them and all of a sudden "you're clueless". Never ever happened to you, I'll bet.

That's not to excuse it but, come on, who has addressed this issue and done something about it and who, on the political stage now, running for President, is doing something or saying anything about it?

Nobody. Ever wonder why that is?

Nothing. But it goes to the point that all politicians make promises they fail to deliver on. When did the reality strike Zero that he couldn't close Gitmo?

I'm not responsible for the debt (well, not like the potus) and I knew it was an idiotic statement. Here had no clue how anything really worked yet his followers bought it. Now they grey bei defensive getting called out for it and compare him to Obama. Same Obama they call the worst potus ever. Funny how that works out

First if you don't vote and didn't vote you really don't have a voice in this platform. I have voted for both parties and I did vote for Trump. I don't like a lot of things he says. I was apprehensive about him and even told my wife I can't vote for him again but wont vote against him. But lately the Democrats are so full of hate and disdain they really leave you no choice. The only one in Democratic party that could bet Trump now I think would be Obama, and he can't run. Everybody else just way out there imo. If a Democrat were to get in office it wouldn't be like I wouldn't get behind them. Tbh Hillary probably would have done okay.

You need to slow down and/or proofread. Not a critique, it just makes it easier to interpret what you are trying to say. Not picking on grammar or spelling errors in this case either.


It's funny, how? It appears to be something that all politicians do and what all of their supporters do but it doesn't solve the problem. We can b!tch about it with the best of them, but you and I both don't have a solution, or do you?

It's pretty damn evident--if you don't have blinders on. Disclaimer: I am not a Republican,. They have plenty of issues that I disagree with.

Nice post. I do take issue with the idea that the middle and lower class are making big gains. Their position has improved and the middle are making a decent living. It's an over used metaphor but the wealthy continue to ride a rocket while the middle runs on a treadmill. Everything Trump has done is tilted toward the wealthy and as usual they are hoarding it. It's not trickling down, particularly from corporate America.

Two years after Trump tax cuts, middle-class Americans are falling behind

I have a serious question, not being sarcastic. I don't understand why the left feels entitled to rich people's money? I'm by no means rich, but I don't feel like you should pay more if you make more. It's not your fault if I settle for just making it, and you invent something/run a business and make millions. Even if you inherited it, still not your fault what I choose to do, so why should you pay more?

On a phone and you know what I'm saying. He was either a liar or completely clueless when he made that promise. His supporters can't admit to either yet call out many others for the same. We are getting debt, war, socialist programs, and bigger govt from a man we were told was different. Actually we're still being told that even with evidence top the contrary piling up.

My solution is top not vote for trash like this. The gop had a chance and chose poorly. No need to double down by supporting this clown

I'll agree, but add that democrats aren't picking better candidates either. They could've nominated a rock last time and probably won, but picked Hillary, the rest is history.

I don't agree that the left feels entitled to other peoples money (right wing talking point). Historically it has been the wealthy who have been against a universal income tax percentage. They have always been able to use the tax laws to pay less than ordinary wage earners. Just ask Donald Trump or Warren Buffett. We all know how Trump has bragged about paying low or no taxes. A few years ago Buffett famously said he paid a lower percentage than his secretary which he agreed was wrong.

You’re failing to realize that many on here that are center right are agreeing with you, yet you keep arguing with them for...agreeing with you. We know what Trump is and what Trump isn’t. But to many, he just happened to be the prettiest pup in an ugly litter of career, dysfunctional politicians that in NO WAY were going to do anything about the debt. The purse strings belong to the House anyway. Therein lies the decades long problem children.
