Glimpses of Tillman thus far show some “dog” just waiting for a chance to unleash. I think a lot of folks are going to be surprised by him next season.

Won't be surprised at all either one of Hyatt, Calloway, or Holiday makes some noise and gets consistent PT. Ramel, BJ, and Tillman aren't really burners. Palmer is fast but not notorious for being a speedster. We need big speed to balance out the rotation

Pass Rush & Wideout are the biggest weakness for the 2020 team. We'll miss Jennings, but I dont think we'll have much dropoff with Palmer, Keyton, Tillman, & Gibbs.

Bennett is showing enough to make me think he'll be much improved next year. We need Crouch or Roman to make a big step. I think ILB is the biggest weakness next year as there is so much uncertainty regarding who will be standing next to Hank.

Someone is complaining about defense? Only complaint is lack of Qb contain a few times. Otherwise we dominated them on that side of the ball. Not sure there was a blitz that didn’t work all night

And this was without a classically great edge rusher. Love Taylor but I was buying what the commentators were stating. Our pass rush has been gerrymandered all season after our players finally bought in. If we landed Rowe to pair with Joseph on that one side, it would add a dynamic we didn’t have this past season. Ohio State had Chase Young...we did it with developed hodgepodge pieces.

cause he throws it where the receiver IS. not where he's supposed to BE.

He also doesn't have touch. It's like a pitcher not having command of off-speed throws. It's obvious on the screen throws that he hums, but I think it also is part of the reason why he misses a lot down the field. Several of those endzone passes failed because he didn't have the touch to drop it into the right spot.

I'm not sure these are things that are fixable with a redshirt senior, and I think that is the reason Bailey takes over by the end of fall camp.

Gibbs is an unproven tease, but if he proves legit? He’s a combination of both size and speed, that we haven’t had in awhile...maybe since Rodgers.

Agreed. Giving McDaniel's total control is such a high risk move. He's benefited from being in the NE system with Bill/Brady his entire career.

i'm still intrigued by McDaniels. i don't think he's the same guy that the Broncos hired.

i think how he did the Colts a couple years ago will stick with him a bit, and maybe Cleveland is where he should wind up?

but with the weapons the Panthers have, and his extensive background on the offensive side of hte ball, i think it'd be crazy not to give him a solid look especially if you're going to ressurect Cam's career.....which is what they should do, and hire an offensive minded coach.

Bienemy apparently was GREAT in his interviews and had a very detailed plan and goals for doing just that with Cam.....so we'll see.

he's more late with the throw than not.

causes him big problems....we could have turned "he's late with the throw" in to a drinking game this season lol.

Yeah, Price's info came from DJ himself though. So I think that is much more accurate. He may still take the job, but he told Price less than 20 mins ago that he had not decided yet.

He didn’t make this move to stay there tho. That he’s done that so far is good fortune and a bit of delicate balancing from Pruitt. Either we promote him or someone snatches him.

well, part of the reason it looks like double coverages is "where" he throws the ball.

the pick 6 last night...where he threw it, two defenders. where he should have thrown it...wide open spaces.

My eventual guess is Eason. An X factor with that size and mobility. French should add solid snaps and depth which we know is needed and hopefully Banks joins the mix.

JJ isn’t a burner either but has that dog fight mindset and it makes him awesome. Tillman has shown some of that same mental make up and I think he’ll get used much like they did JJ.
