Hard to see last time a true freshman started game won and team won 9 games or more in SEC. Nix was close. But we dont have Auburn's roster at this time.

Jake Fromm and Jalen Hurts have done it in twice in the last 4 years. HB is a better talent than both. If we had HB as our QB this year, then we would have gone 10-2 IMO. (assuming we still knock Tua out).

Nail on head. Like Hasselbeck said last night he has to see it open before he throws it. Subsequently he's late with the football. I do however doubt we can more win than 7 games if HB starts game 1. Need to get Maurer, Hill, as many practice snaps as possible.

Agreed. I think we need to Upgrade the RB and QB positions. With Rocker retiring we can obviously get a good body in there. Need guys that will stay for atleast 3 years though.

Bringing back Jay Graham to replace Johnson would be fantastic. Also believe Osovet slides into the QB coaching role if Weinke departs. Would be a great fit for the QBs considering Osovet's history with RPOs.

I'm looking forward to the likely wildly inaccurate assessments of HB from the beat writers after they get their first glimpses of him.

The best thing we can hope for is that he is pushing for the starting job early. I want to bring in a transfer Too Bc i think it would be good for him to learn from another QB like costello, Newman, etc. film room, practice, etc.

A better qb coach would be nice too.

I like Osovet at RB coach better. Coach up the surrounding cast in RPO.

Eric Gray might end up breaking the career rushing record here. He put himself on a good pace to end the season.

Kind of reminds me of Kamara. Difference is, this staff will play you if you are a talented.

well, there's nothing that says we can't poach someone from another staff......i couldn't even hazard a guess as to who would be in consideration.

i'm sure Pruitt and Chaney have a list.......lol.

I haven't kept up as much this year, but it seems like he gets mentioned in a lot of recruit's tweets. Plus he's a good coach. If we don't promote him I bet someone else does. If we lose any offensive coaches I hope we promote him.
