Who ever is the play caller come fall, they should spend all spring and summer solving the problem in the red zone. If you got 4 tries inside the 10 yard line, you should not have to kick field goals.

Lane Kiffin has forgotten more about offensive football than jim chaney will ever know !

Um, I am a big fan of Kiffin's offensive skills but seriously? You have officially Jumped the Shark

It will be a waste of time for him. Kiffin runs that offense. He knows that.

Amen, there are open recievers frequently but JG cannot deliver the ball to them. But I do wonder why they never roll him out giving him the option to run it in

JG can't seem to shake the "deer in the headlights"...mentality...feel sorry for him...

PS. Tee can go if he wants...he's not indispensable...

GO BIG ORANGE!

People thought Tee was going to come in here and recruit the way he did at USC. Its easier to recruit those 5* at USC,especially when most of those 5* were already in California. I dont see this being a loss at all if its true.

have you seen him try to run? rolling him out would require him having to think and move on the run at the same time.Nothing good can come out of that.

If Tee bolts, then fine. We will know that Tee is just like every other mercenary coach.

I'd mercenary at my job too if Lane called me and offered $1M/year. Don't get confused by strange ideas about loyalty, home, and family. It's a career. Hardly ANY top coach in the nation is at their Alma Mater.

That being said, I assume (with 0 evidence) that Tee may be coming home to be tutored under Cheney and then be handed the reigns as OC. Cheney(Chaney?) has as long track record of moving around quickly. If Tee took over as OC, then he would have to be in some sort of position for the HC position as some future point if it opened. OK, I'm about 4 levels past present reality. But, I doubt he leaves without an exceptional opportunity.

T is a Tennessee legend. He will always have a spot in most Tennessee fans hearts.

BUT

I think he took it as a "demotion" of sorts when he was asked to leave the box and go to the sideline this year. Our WRs have shown moments of greatness this year...but have also had some rough moments. If I recall he scored an 11 on the wonderlick...so maybe his "football IQ" isn't where it needs to be to coach at the big time SEC level? And as hard as JP coaches our players.....I feel he is equally as demanding of his staff....and T might not take that very well.
Vince Young scores an 11 on the Wonderlick. Did they even report those back when T was going pro?
