So lets just erase the first couple of games from JG this year and Burrow last year to adjust for time to be comfortable in a new offense. Then BM looks even worse once again.

He lit it up in practice and that’s when everyone was hearing Pruitt publicly criticizing Maurer and Shrout. Bottom line is practice didn’t translate to the game. If someone was saying we need to keep JG as the starter and could have a breakout year next year that would be the same argument as Burrrow as they are in the same year and had almost the exact same stats. The Burrow situation is exactly like the JG situation.

JG was actually ranked higher for returning SEC qbs than Burrow by many before the season. That is because LAST SEASON was very comparable to JG this year.

Rs JR to RS Jr they are/were on the same level.

And what’s the difference in those stats? JG and JB were both prepared for every game they played in. You avoid the games BM was prepared for because it’s damaging to your bias and therefore your case. Which explains why you are avoiding @whodeycin85 quote #755.

So it is "fair" and accurate in your mind to include a true freshman's trash time numbers in a comparison. JG and BM played in some games against the same team. In 3 of the 4, BM BADLY outplayed JG. Not even same neighborhood.

I am pleased that JG played better for a few games. I hope he keeps it up. Unlike you, my only agenda is for UT to have great QB play. Don't care what their name is. Don't care where they came from. Don't care what skin tone they are.

So I said “There’s only 2 qbs I’ve seen make that throw and that’s Ar12 and Pat Mahommes”. From that point he and Pulaski ran with it.

Yeah. There's a wide, wide margin between saying you've only seen two and saying there ARE only two.

I've only heard of one player who threw a ball so hard that he actually split a guy's hand when the nose went between his middle fingers.... but there are probably a lot who could do it if the ball struck just right.

That’s obvious. An unprepared qb is essentially playing without practice and therefore playing “backyard football” as opposed to a prepared one going in with a game plan to take advantage of weaknesses.
