You mean the one where Trump is blocking the official release of emails that are now leaking out showing incredibly incriminating communications that put the illegal hold directly on Trump? Yeah, that's happening.

It would be nice if both sides would treat this with some semblance of an investigation instead of as a football game.

Upon the suggestion of impropriety, both sides should have gone into an impartial posture working together to assemble a clear picture of what happened. Instead, the left started slinging spaghetti against the wall to see what would stick while the right immediately prepared to defend against whatever was found even if it was incriminating. And none of that silly "They knew there was nothing" posturing; both sides' antics have soiled the process.

And if there's new information, both sides need to go back to an impartial, non-partisan operating relationship while it's reviewed.

This is a country, not a sportsball game. No one wins when either side fails to follow the letter or intent of the law. And when both sides treat this stage as a way to score points, we all lose.

Do you mean "nothingburger" as nothing will happen? Probably true but no need to try to sell it as a "nothingburger". It highlights or "redacts" the cover up.

Trump ordered hold of Ukraine aid according to White House budget official - CNNPolitics

The OMB told the DoD that the order to continue the hold on the Ukrainian aid CAME DIRECTLY FROM TRUMP. The DoD was freaking out and complaining about the illegality of that, were told it was coming from Trump, and the leadership of both were pointing fingers at each other in case it blew up (which it did).

There are going to be a whole lot of people with knowledge of this, and with the publication of these emails (why did the WH redact them???? More cover -up!) the dam may well burst. Everyone knew it was the wrong thing to do, was illegal, and was coming directly on Trump's orders.

And yet we still have the cult buying into the notion that it was all on the up and up. Sheesz.

1) When is our next election?

2) In context of #1, why are the American people standing by while the Democrats in Congress politicize a process that was ONLY supposed to be used in extreme situations where actual crimes occurred.

If true, I see the alleged behaviors as high crimes and misdemeanors. The international political landscape is not a business boardroom.

Millions wanting to vote the way they did is the glaring symptom of the problem.
If you don't see the election and continued support of Trump as a problem, then there is really nothing more that can be said.
I guess not seeing the problem is a big part of the problem.

It’s only a problem when the one we don’t support to be in the Oval Office wins , to tens of millions of people ... it’s not a problem . The simple fact tha Trump is President means the election process in this country is alive and well . Hillary wasn’t just a horrible candidate , she was lazy and assumed ( along with the MSM) that she would win because it was her turn . Trump out worked her and in places where she needed to win like .. Florida , Michigan , Pennsylvania and Ohio . Hillary and the DNC made a huge mistake , she thought white working class men and women would fall in line and vote for her regardless of what she said to them or about them . Trump had the opposite message and embraced them . Simple .

Yea, I don't buy any of it.
I've had a number of people I didn't support win an election, including the Oval Office. I have never felt the system (public) failed as I do with Trump. Any of the other 16 would have been at least tolerable. I've made my point a hundred times and it hasn't changed since day one.
Trump is horrendously despicable. He should have never been nominated. He should have never been elected. He should be removed by any legal means available. He should not even be considered as a candidate in 2020. He is a once in 300 year cataclysmic anomaly.

I'm done for now. Go Vols!!
