Let's have a real conversation about GA. How are they recruiting so well? Before you guys come in here, and you know who you are, saying "we've been garbage for a decade!" this has nothing to do with Tennessee. It has to do with Georgia. How are they attracting the kind of talent that they are right now? They are getting ready to close out another signing class where they will finish in the top 3, maybe even number 1, ahead of LSU, and maybe even ahead of Clemson and Alabama, the only 2 teams to win a championship in like the last 5 years. How are they doing it?
Before you say that its because of in state talent... it isn't. Looking at their commitment list, and their soon to be commitment list, their top rated recruits have come from Nevada, California, D.C., Fl, Texas, and Louisiana. In fact, in their entire class, they only have 5 guys from GA, and one of them is their 2nd lowest rated position player (not counting the punter). How is Ga recruiting like this when they are not winning championships? It certainly isn't because they have the best tradition, the best stadium, or the best facilities.
You might say, "they have to be cheating!" and there is no doubt that they are cheating. No doubt at all. But isn't everybody? So if everyone is cheating, that still doesn't explain it.
Someone please tell me how is it that GA is recruiting at this level when they have so little success?
I'm with you in some ways. I like this class a lot. But it's a solid B. I do think there are some really good players, notably at QB and on the DL. I like the receivers as well. But if we're going to get back to competing for championships, we have to do better, especially when our competition is recruiting the way that they are. I think that 0-2 start really hurt us with some of those elite players we were in on.Not the class many expected or hoped for at the beginning of the season. Football. Crazy things happen sometimes.
I do think there are some good players in this class. Hopefully the coaches can develop some of this talent.
We’ll know more about this class in a couple of years. Interested in watching some of these guys grow and develop.
I agree that getting Hardy would be a big get. Hope it happens.

They have just been relevant for 10 yrs or more. Maybe not national championship relevant, but consistently 10 games a year. GA also gets alot of hype from the media.Let's have a real conversation about GA. How are they recruiting so well? UGA has to cash in on a big game at some point or all this bs they are selling in recruiting becomes pretty empty. They have been trash in the postseason with Kirby.
