I have a friend that bought a stripper Ram with the Hemi and loves it.Happy New Year VolNation and forum friends! RavinDave is rockin' in the New Year in his new Ram truck. Just a basic 1500 Tradesman with the 5.7L Hemi engine; made the trade yesterday, finally unloading my 2018 F-150 Platinum that I didn't care to drive. Great thing is, trading down to a lower trim level without all the bells & whistles I actually got a new truck plus a check for $2200... can't beat that.
My grandfather had a 55, and it stayed in the family until year 2,000 when I sold it. If it had been a 2 door, I would have kept it. My brother drove it to U.T. his last 3 years. Freshmen weren't allowed to have a car on campus in the mid- 60's. That big two tone green Caddy still had a Big Orange Country sticker in the back window in 2,000.I think the older caddys are pretty, they have class.
Whew, 45 years is a looong time.My grandfather had a 55, and it stayed in the family until year 2,000 when I sold it. If it had been a 2 door, I would have kept it. Back when I was in sales for the big German company, I had a string of 3 Chrysler company cars in a row... two Concordes and then a Charger; all were 6 cylinders and I liked them all but this is the first Chrysler product I've ever owned and the first time I've had a Hemi. I put about 100 miles on it today and am enjoying it. The ride is almost as stiff as that of the F-150 I traded but the transmission is a lot smoother, she has plenty of power, good low end torque, and steers & handles better than all the other trucks I've owned.I have a friend that bought a stripper Ram with the Hemi and loves it.
No but I am looking for one who looks just like that. You wouldn’t happen to employee that looks like this would you? View attachment 250710
Yup. Got some friends coming over to watch it leaving work early to get set up.Our last game of Vol football for 9 months is tonight. I hope we do well. Would really like to see a "statement" game. At minimum, I hope the team we saw in the last half of the season is the team we see line up tonight.
