This is a play i liked that Indiana scored on vs Penn state. They really should’ve won that game. They had a muffed punt and another weird fumble and just some bad luck honestly. This play has mike debord influence written all over it. They run a lot of swing passes and screens to set up double moves and verticals. They took a lot shots in the passing game against Penn state. Another reason i picked this play is Bc we run a lot of blitzes from the slot and safety positions so I’m guessing this is how they will try and attack us.

This is a 3 part play. It’s honestly a RPPO. If you notice they slide protect the OL so none of them get downfield. They could hand this ball off (which they do some later in the game). but they use the RB to come across and his job is to look for a free rusher on the backside and cut him down. The biggest thing on this play is the outside corner for PS is playing outside leverage so that tells me one of the LBs or safety has the middle of the field. The box safety ends up blitzing and both LBs get caught watching the slot WR who’s running a decoy block and the swing man so no one gets back to cover the middle opening up the post from the outside for an easy TD.

They CAN and will give him more than Wilson. It’s not a hallmark of who’s the best QB...it’s the timing. He’ll land the going rate of a franchise QB for the league’s most marketable team.

Sure they can give him whatever they want to. I’m just saying if he’s demanding that money, you have the numbers to back up why he’s not worth it.

The UF receiving and RB core that donkey left were pretty damn solid. Perine, Toney, Swain and Cleveland are all upper level players for the SEC. toney is a stud. Plus the QB situation wasn’t as bad as people claim. Franks was a big time prospect and mullen got the most out of him. Trask is clearly a good QB.

I’m not saying it’s as good as Kirby but it’s not far off

I guess I’m just not as big on Florida offensive personnel that was left especially along the OL. Petrine is probably a day 3 guy. I definitely don’t think those WRs are anywhere near the top pass catchers in the SEC.

Used to really grind my gears how every draft, the top draft pick used the previous year’s as the FLOOR for theirs. Glad they stopped the madness on that. This is why agents want players eligible right out of high school and would love to abolish the draft.

Back to the Cowboys, they’ve been a blessed franchise in landing franchise QB’s in every conceivable fashion. They always pay up when they’ve identified their guy. Franchise tag has NEVER been used towards the QB since it’s conception.

Kirk cousins was franchised twice by the redskins....

Fair. Toney is a day 1 guy but scouts will be dumb and let him fall to day two or three.

That was also a terrible defensive blitz. The CB blitzes which is fine, but the safety is also blitzing but he is late, redirects in the middle of the play, and doesn't get close to the QB. This seems more like blown coverage than anything. The CB, even for outside leverage is still way out of position and obviously someone forgot to play middle

They are going to get slaughtered...The bowl game should sue them and the SEC. If UGA keeps pulling this BS...nobody is going to want them in their bowl.

99.5% of HS kids would get destroyed going straight to pro ball without some kind of minor league system in place. They just are not physically ready for that.

OK, Morans, today is my last day at my current employer of almost 30 years. I am moving on to a new opportunity. I would like to ask for some good vibes for the new job and to help get through an emotional day. TIA.

Rocker is only 53 yrs old. Geez I'm 50 and wished I could retire now and have enough money to live. Maybe he wants t take a break for a couple of years or be a non field role but awful young to be retiring so early at 53.

It's not really unheard of in this profession. He's been coaching since like 1992. He also has a really good baseball player for a son that's about to get drafted high.
