I never understood why the national championship game is on Mondays. Saturdays are for college football. I don't t see the NFL moving Super Bowls from Sundays..

I think they do it not to interfere with NFL playoffs but otherwise, yeah.

Hate we have to wait more than 2 weeks for it too.

That’s true. Also, I would guess numbers are better at prime time on Monday as opposed to Saturday. Saturday in prime time is not great as some have things they do. On a Monday night, everyone is home.
