Yup doesn’t help they lost their best defensive player either. The freshmen aren’t good defenders right now.

Everyone’s on the same wagon. Not our fault guys forgot how to shoot...not just this game. It’s just reality. We have no go to guys so that means everyone has to step up. In fairness I didn’t expect we would be great this year...but blowouts are another story.

I think we need to work inside out with JJJ Pons Fulkerson ORN. Use those mismatches then kick for the 3 to Bowden who is shooting better off the pass usually...and of course. D the F up!!!!

Losing Turner and replacing him with Gaines doesn't help our defense, either.

I wasn’t commenting about this year. He said this freshman class was terrible. It won’t be. Just like Grant and AS improved, they will too. Gaines has huge upside.

You add next year’s class to these guys, and they will be good.,

Bowden has gone from being the 4th option to the 1st option. Defenses now key on him. He does not have much help either.

I don’t think people realize how amazing Punter was his senior year. He put up the most PPG in a season for the decade at 22.2 on 46/37/82 splits. He was elite.

I think some probably had to high expectations for this years team, I’m kind of surprised how bad they have looked lately but not by a lot. My biggest beef is still with last years squad. Best roster in program history arguably, and that talent was full of upper class talent and what do we have to show for it? No regular season sec championship, no sec tournament championship and no real noise in the big dance. Last years teams absolute floor in the big dance was the sweet 16 and that’s what we got. This years team isn’t really that talented but I think some think that if your going to underperform with an elite team then you need to over perform with a average or below average team. All just my opinion of course.
