Isn’t that’s generally how it works on most teams though? The younger guys take a role position until they are the upper class man and then they step in and fill those roles? That’s just the natural progression, it’s not anything unique to these guys or this team. They just aren’t doing it.The leaders have been backseat guys all their career. It’s a hard task to go from the 3rd to in some cases 6th option to the 1st and second option.
What's your point? Just because he is a freshman doesnt mean he has a nickname of ticket and cant take **** from that. Sure Gaines has potential and great upside, but a freshman shouldnt have that name when he bricks just about every 3.
Not necessarily. Some guys just aren’t leaders.Isn’t that’s generally how it works on most teams though? People thought magic wasnt athletic either...sometimes a player makes things look so effortless that some dont realize it....that man glides along the court..he went for the layup cuz it was the right play..he converts and you say nothing....I think he lacks athleticism to create his own shot at the rim... or finish above it consistently . Hope he proves me wrong
