I just now found out Matt Luke use to coach OL-TE at UT. Was he thought of as a big loss when he left with Cut?

No, I don't remember anyone really thinking a lot about him. I remember everyone hating on Kurt Roper, who was brought in as RB coach at the same time. I think Roper was the one that said he forgot to put Montario Hardesty into a game against Bama I believe. I think Luke had a reputation as a poor recruiter from what I remember.

Watching Clawson always think back to Fulmer’s camp for little kids every summer. I took Jr and my nephew the one and only camp Clawson was at. Really nice guy. Have several pictures of him with the boys.

Funniest thing about that camp was provided by Jim Bob Cooter. He was running a drill where the kids were to dive over a tackling dummy on the goal line. Cooter had a square pad that he was using to swat at kids as they jumped teaching ball security. Jr was a big kid. I don’t know if that played a factor in this or not. Jr dove and JBC absolutely destroyed him. Ball goes flying. Jr gets up with a WTF look on his face. I was freaking rolling on the ground. JBC came over and apologized. I said for what? Dude you just made my year.

Never mind that this unit was already the well-documented weak link on this year’s team. They will also now be without three offensive line starters, the second-leading rusher, the second-leading receiver (Lawrence Cager, injured since the final two games of the regular season) and Swift’s status isn’t certain either. Receiver Dominick Blaylock (ACL tear) is also out and receiver Kearis Jackson (high ankle sprain) is questionable.
