At the end of a year, it brings a time of reflection. At the end of a decade? Well, the only thing to reflect on is UT football. Let’s review then (late 2009-early 2010) and now:

Then:
  1. Fulmer was nowhere to be found
  2. Mike Hamilton was about to run the program in the ground
  3. Nu’Keese and Janzen were robbing Pilot gas stations
  4. NCAA violations? Never heard of her
  5. Kiffin bolts for USC
  6. Mattresses were burning
  7. Orgeron (Mongo) was on the prowl of our EE’s
  8. Dooley? You sure you don’t mean Vince Dooley??
  9. Basically...

Now:
  1. Fulmer is the face of UT athletics and has things pointed in the right direction
  2. We have a real football coach who coaches the game of football
  3. Stability and structure are the name of the game
  4. Mattresses are safe and sound
  5. We’re on a 5 game winning streak
  6. The next decade is set for success
  7. Optimism is at 1989 levels
  8. Best coaching staff in the country? It’s actually possible.
  9. Basically...

Yes, folks. We’ve been through Hell, but that will only make the next decade of dominance all the sweeter. Enjoy it. Live it. Love it.

This post hit me like a sugar high:

Just realized another positive to our comeback to finish 7-5.. Haven't had to read 1 thing about real azz Larry and his foreboding future casts.

No offense to him personally, I know he was tight. Just those anointing him Nostradamus for always being negative at TN. That's hardly premonition worthy.
Have had the pleasure of meeting Larry on two different occasions. Salt of the earth type of guy who knows more about the ins and outs of the Tennessee program than 99% of the people on this board. When he offers input, it’s wise to listen.

Larry seems like a nice enough guy. Strange tho, how you defend him while crapping on AV.

I hate ga on the same level as FL right now. So tired of their arrogant bragging and landing every 5 star in the country, even tho they don’t do anything with it. I’m ready to beat them so badly
I, fortunately, don't know any GA fans so I have not developed the hate yet that I have for AL and FL, but that could change quickly.

Not exactly a secret who Larry is but also not a secret how jaded he has become.
Hopefully he'll snap out of it 1 day. But your endorsement is noted.

The irony here is absolutely ridiculous. Gotta be trolling.
