The Impeachment Thread

I would love to know what all he has done to benefit Russia.
Do some real research and then think critically for the first time in your life. You'll be amazed at the brain power that's been dormant for so many years. I'm not asking you to abandon your conservative ideology. Like I said, plenty speak out against this President

Come on man, educate us nimrods. You obviously have it all figured out so school us bumpkins.

That's a non answer from someone that made the accusation. You made the accusation and will not back it up. It's not for me to prove you right since I happen to believe that you are not.

Neither did Joe Biden. He currently leads the Democratic Party Primary field in every poll on Real Clear Politics. Joe Biden's average lead on Real Clear Politics is by 8.5% points. There is a very clear disconnect between what the conservatives on VolNation want to believe about Joe Biden's chances of being the Democratic Party nominee, and what is the reality of the polls. You guys are kidding yourselves.
There was a very clear reason for the disconnect between Trump's treatment of Biden, and his treatment of Warren and Sanders, despite what you want to peddle here. Biden went on video and bragged about withholding billions of dollars from Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor that was investigating the energy company on which Biden's son sat as board member (and legal counsel?).

Now, you can make the argument that that was all on the up and up. You can even believe that. It may even be true!

But it's also a conflict of interest, a HORRIBLE look, and probably worthy of investigation.

Neither Warren nor Sanders were on video bragging about that apparent conflict of interest. Thus, there is your disconnect between how Trump treated Biden verses the other two.

Biden is out there blathering on about loving it when kids sit in his lap and stroke the blond hair on his legs. Don't flatter him when it comes to his danger against Trump.

No President in my lifetime has behaved as poorly as Trump. That you would try to conflate with a totally irrelevant issue isn't surprising. After all, you're a Trumper
...and you should be aware that Donald Trump paid hush money to a stripper/porn star named Stormy Daniels one month prior to the 2016 Presidential election. We realize that other Presidents have had character issues and behaved poorly. It's just that on every single topic, what Trump has done, is just as bad and in many cases, it's even worse.
Do the math of BOD's point.

As I have mentioned many times here, the investigation into Burisma Holdings had gone dormant at the time Viktor Shokin was fired. Shokin wasn't fired for prosecuting corruption. He was fired because he WASN'T prosecuting corruption. It's a decision that the entire European Union was in favor of.

Also, it is naive to think that Trump and Giuliani were trying to damage Joe Biden politically, for any other reason than they find him to be the biggest threat among the Democratic Primary field of candidates.

It is a mistake to completely dismiss what the polls are saying and they have been very consistent that Biden has a comfortable lead. I really think that the Ukraine story has helped Biden with some Democrats. It's clear that Trump would rather face Liz or Bernie. He never attacks them anymore. When was the last time we heard a "Pocahontas" or "Crazy Bernie" dig? Trump and Giuliani have been busting their asses to find dirt on one candidate. That only serves to feed into the perception among Democrats that Biden is the most electable.

"Popular with Democrats" != "Dangerous to Trump". I'll repeat myself. Whether you want to admit it, he's ground zero in a Ukraine corruption investigation/scandal. Even if that weren't the case, he's stumping himself in speeches as a barely rational crazy person that can hardly put two sentences together. He's sucking his wife's finger and telling people he likes it when kids sit on his lap and stroke the blond hairs on his legs.

It's more of an insult to Democrats that they're hanging their hat on him than a danger to Trump.

Admittedly I struggle with many things, but this statement does not fly for me as it would indicate that Biden wanted them to reopen an investigation into his son's company. Not buying it.

It doesn’t gridlock the Senate. She’s doing it bc she knows he will not be convicted. Hold it over his head as long as possible. It’s pretty fing shameful.
She is doing it because she would like to see some witnesses called during the Senate trial. Specifically, she wants to hear from John Bolton, Mick Mulvaney and Mike Pompeo. It's no less shameful than what Trump was trying to do. It's politics in the USA.

When someone asks, "What has Trump done to help Russia?", I can't come up with anything but what I posted. It was directed to someone specific other than you, unless of course, you don't know either

I don't give an ounce of toro caca what you've mentioned. With Hunter sitting on the board, it was a conflict of interest, and a HORRIBLE look. Do you know what you do when you are running for office? You find the horrible looks for your opponents and press them.

For Biden, it was that video.

As you actually mentioned, for Pocahontas, it was the fact that she's a social justice warrior that lied about being a person of color.

Etc...

Don't flatter ol' blonde-leg-Biden. The fact that the Mumbler is polling so well reflects more on the weakness of the Dem field than the vulnerability of Trump.

She should have called them already. She has no authority in the senate. She’s done.

I'm not saying that Joe Biden did want his son's company investigated. I'm simply saying, that factually speaking, the investigation into Burisma Holdings had gone dormant at the time that Viktor Shokin was fired... and the entire EU had been pushing for Viktor Shokin's ouster at the time he was replaced as the General Prosecutor of the Ukraine.

She could have gone to court if she wanted those. She chose not to bc this was an urgent matter. Now not so urgent. And every President tries to extend executive privilege. She kicked the can. Even if Mitch McTurtle calls for witnesses you don’t think the Trump admin is going to fight Bolton and others? Of course they will.

So, nothing, apparently.

And I'll add to the conversation. Implementing policy that benefits Russia isn't in itself treason. Much foreign policy has been implemented over the years that has benefited Russia. It's actually the sign of a good leader and negotiator that can come up with solutions that benefit all involved.

You're batting .000 on this one, Kimosabe.
