Not going to overthink. Hoping for DW and Hardy, but people also blew up his pre-ESD post and nothing seemed to happen afawk

So UGA mods with obvious uga CBs...Bama CBs to UGA....no CBs from any UT mods.

Callahan sounds like he may not CB at all. Doesn't see much value in it this close to the announcement and possibly hurting a kid's moment. Could just be the obvious piling on to uga, but an optimistic view of this says UT mods know more than being let on and they don't want to spoil the party.

Well just talked to Abernathy on the phone. He said that they are thinking it’s Georgia because they have housing for kids and we don’t. He said that we have 4 scholarships left. Hoping to flip Hardy. Said they are only wanting transfers that can play immediately.
BUT He said that his mom does not want him to go to Georgia and she won’t sign the paperwork. He also said that DWs sons mom didn’t want him to go to Tennessee because she thought Pruitt would be too hard on him. Said the team is going to Jacksonville on the 28th and that they are flying DW and his whole family down with them. Coach AB also said his mom won’t sign so apparently letter hasn’t been sent. Another interesting note that he mentioned is that he doesn’t think he will play TE in college. Said he will most likely play DE cause he could make bigger money at DE.

Again, all hearsay.

Also, Bruce believes we get Washington AND Hardy. 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is the kind of report people need to really be embarassed of if it turns out that on January 2 he has picked and signed with UGA. I'm not being critical of you OP, you are relaying what you've heard, it's just that this is awfully detailed if it doesn't turn out to be true, it would seem malicious on the part of your sources.

It's still the dead period, so all DW can do is watch practice.

I guess his family could meet with the coaching staff without DW present.

Doesn't sound very realistic.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... I don’t have sources. Lol. This came from a text thread from me and 4 buddies... we either live in Knoxville or Nashville and know people who know people who know people. And none of them are important, lol. Except maybe our Brice connection.
The way I take it is this is a coaches perspective not reporting facts.

This was whaat I was screaming yesterday..why would DW sign with a team who has been (CB’ing) him to them for Months and announce it as a surprise?...all while our mods are saying there is “zero” chance and it’s all UGA but won’t even put in their own Crystal ball predictions to UGA👀🤷🏽‍♂️ They know way more than they are putting out..it’s one thing to be the loudest in the room as the logical clear cut favorite choice but it’s another to be the quietly confident dark horse who has had a Zero % chance at landing a recruit and it’s came down to us and Georgia.👀🤷🏽‍♂️🤔

I do not think Abernathy would make the statements claimed in the post. It would cost him his job IMO.
