They haven’t offered another one and we don’t need one, hence why we haven’t offered any, that’s why it’s quiet and will stay that way till it’s public out of respect.

My take on this as well..in a sense what you are saying..but they are referring to them not offering another TE.

I mean AV has already said continuously that the kid is a Vol. I dont think he would give a damn to say if something had changed and the kid was now a Vol. Also dont think he gives a damn about the message board backlash. He was here immediately after the Hardy crap show. I do think he believes he shouldnt have to baby grown men and women with constant reassurance that an 18 yo kid still likes our school.

agreed, with one little caveat...according to what he was told, we led. he wasn't giving his opinion or prediction...that's what he was led to believe, and he shared it. he's never just outright said he's a vol. he's said we lead and there's reasons for all the stuff we're seeing etc....

its entirely possible that he, and others possibly, were misled, just like with the Hardy deal.

I know he signed yesterday, I said he would even when he tweeted he wouldn’t. As for the latter, you know I’m not answering that, he has three good choices between UT, UA, and UGA. It’s his moment, he waited (and worked) this long to have it.

If you know he signed, then he signed with UGA. How would you know anything concerning UA or UT?

Atlanta Vol is definitely one of those people. I don't care if he ever gives us one piece of info.Hes done alot of over the top nice things for some less fortunate folks on this board.

I dont have the slightest clue who @Atlanta VOL is but that guy got me and my daughter 4 tickets to the Tennessee alabama basketball game that just happened to introduce Chaney and tee martin. I have been a fan for 30 years and it was one of my favorite experiences seeing Tee back in orange and the ovation he received. And my daughter got to meet Phil Fulmer and one of his grandchildren who were 10 rows in front of us in behind the mens bench where we also were able to watch grant and admiral one last time in person. This time not from the nose bleeds. I dont care what any of you haters and negas say about AV but the guy IS what Tennessee athletics is all about and the true character of this university.

Here is what we know, or think we know, on Darnell. FLUID situation that could change at any moment in a handful or directions.

I've talked to several sources in the last 12 hours and am told consistently that Darnell has not signed his LOI and its looking like he will wait. Could that change? Absolutely.

There could be some misdirection here to build suspense but multiple sources on multiple sides of the fence have told us that he and his mom have not came to an agreement yet on his college destination. This often gets worked out before NSD and they have through Friday to sign. But at this stage its either a smoke screen or they are at a stalemate.

Georgia has felt confident all along. And Tennessee feels they are in it deep as well. With that said we have confirmed Washington has been in consistent communication with the Alabama staff up to this point so UA still remains in the picture.

Couple of different scenarios could play out here IMO

1-Washington signs. And the school he signed with keeps it quiet until he announces at his all-star game.

2-Washington waits until the late period to sign and if that happens its going to get very, very real.

We will let you know if we hear anything new. Not a lot to go on but we are digging.

If he signed with another school contact with DW would now be a recruiting violation. Secking either knows because he has signed with UGA or he has signed with another school and UGA can no longer contact him. I'm afraid it's the former but we'll see.

Still say the biggest piece here is Niedermeyer basically vanishing. He had a huge year last year and this year he has not hit on any. I think his silence right now and AVs silence tells us this isn't over and they are working their asses off to finish this. Nieds didn't even shout out a single commit yesterday and has basically been missing since DW went back home.

I dont think DW has signed anywhere regardless of what secking says.
