'20 NV TE Darnell Washington (UGA commit)

Most of our insiders have been quiet on Darnell all day. Either they aren't hearing anything at all, or they know something and are hiding it.

I personally think the first scenario is highly unlikely.

And, the second scenario, why would our insiders be quiet if they were hearing UGA?

Cautiously optimistic that silence is good news for us.

Understand someone thinking he’s gonna go to UGA but why in the hell would you think we don’t have a shot?

- been here 6 times
- we got last OV
- Nieds.

May not get him, but we for sure have a shot.

Edit: unless you meant Ringo in which case I agree, no shot.

That's what is curious to me too. If they were hearing bad news for us, there would be no need to go dark. That is what is giving me cautious hope here.

I also hear @Atlanta VOL is really good with babies. Especially after hearing how he saved an entire orphanage from a fire and they STILL had a wonderful Thanksgiving spread. What a hero. All while @KirbySmart just watched. disgusting.

I think the question here is...how did Pruitt act today?...did he seem like we were done in regards to landing another high profile or unknown recruit👀

Because UGA has 3 Nieds on there recruiting staff and they are a juggernaut right now that can point to wins/SEC East Championships and playing in the CFP's and NY6 bowls. Can also point to how their offense struggled with no legitimate TE threat this year and how they got Nuata drafted.

It's like some people don't realize that other teams have effective recruiters too.

  2. Says his mind is made up...he's not signing tomorrow.
  3. Tweets a pen and paper (had to turn his phone on to do that)
I think he changed his mind and signed today. IMO, there's no way in hell this stays a secret for even 24 hrs. if that's the case.

Kirby didn’t make the playoffs this year.

Lost to SC and got stomped by LSU.

And stop spreading the false narrative that Georgia can use their TEs because I’ve yet to see it.

I said that "other teams have effective recruiters too". We have Nieds as our big time recruiter. UGA/Bama/LSU and TX A&M to a lesser extent have 2-3 Nieds on their staffs......plus the first three listed are winning at a big time clip while we are trying to sell beating USCjr, Missouri, KY and Vandy as some great improvement....which it is to us. But when you go against the big boys that is a hard sell.

Kirby was in Atlanta this year, has been in Atlanta in 3 of his 4 years there and has had top recruiting classes every single year. Isaac Nauta is in the NFL now and Chaney used him quite nicely during his few years at UGA.

And he was a top prospect going into the combine because of how effective he was in Chaney's offense. Turns out Chaney got a lot of production out of a TE who runs a 4.9 40
