Welcome to Early Signing Day 2020. I'll be updating this post as we get confirmation that letters have been signed. If you can't follow this thread, check out the link below to sign up for text notifications. Also, if you see any errors or I'm missing anything, please let me know.

Some of the times listed have been a bit varied, so take that with a grain of salt and I'll update them as I see new info.

9:30 p.m. As of right now it looks as if 16 of Tennessee's 18 commitments are expected to sign early.

8:30 am. Doneiko Slaughter signed with Tennessee at a ceremony this morning, still waiting for official confirmation.
9:02 am. First new pick of of the day as 4-star ILB Len'Neth Whitehead commits to Tennessee. That's 19 official commits now.
9:21 am. Omari Thomas has officially signed with Tennessee.

Prediction for tomorrow:

Williamson does not sign (becomes a grayshirt, will count towards next years class, due to his ACL)
We have therefore, 8 spots available.
We will fill 6 of them tomorrow, after all commits sign (nobody flips).

Jimmy Holiday
Tyler Baron
Reginald Perry
Morven Joseph
Lenneth Whitehead
Desmond Tisdol

And then we will leave a space for Jay Hardy and Darnell Washington.

That would give us a very solid (though not super star studded) class. I'd be thrilled with that finish.

I'd love to see us be done with the class by tomorrow, focus on the bowl game prep and the class of 2021. I'm sure the coaches would much rather have it all done by tomorrow, but we will wait on Hardy and Washington if they're still out there.

Yeah, I think we backed off on him. I think we just had better odds elsewhere.

That also tells me we feel good about Tisdol. I don't think we ever planned to take them both.

I will also say...that if Perry signs elsewhere.....that could be a VERY good sign. Nobody needs to freak out over that one. And that is not a slam on the kid, I'd be tickled to have him.
