hail yeah nooga

When first they started tricking out vehicles with innard jiggling sub-woofers and cruised the avenues with rap played loud enough to damage hearing of bystanders in the next county, I would cruise the wrong side of town in my '69 F100 with the windows down blaring classical music from my stereo... Boppin' to Beethoven.

During my long haired hippy youth, my fake band's name was Bleed A Chicken, and we were touring to support our latest album, Bloot My Root. Our original material was jazz rock classical bluegrass fusion. FM DJs labeled us Steely Queen League. Hey, got laid. Good times.

This may warrant its own thread, but SIU has decided to no longer require SAT/ACT for admission and use high school GPA instead. I think it's a great idea especially with so may SAT/ACT prep classes available. I have a friend at church that teaches one and she said that perfect and near perfect scores for the ACT and extremely high SAT scores are coming pretty common as a result of these prep courses.
