I think lil cryin nickie on TV about Pruitt and Dumb gave Kiff the idea! rolflmfaoYou can imagine how pissed off Kiffin was to not be included in Saban's bitching about Pruitt and Kirby taking his coaches. With his insatiable need to be in the limelight. But suddenly I'm finding myself not hating him quite so much![]()
Sorry, Tosh = Vol.Kiffin, pissed at Saban for his unceremonious firing, is taking aim at bama staff. From the Athletic:
“That’s why Kiffin is attempting to take as many current, former and potential Alabama coaches as he can with him to Oxford. In his biggest coup attempt, Kiffin offered Alabama strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran an on-the-field coaching position to try to steal him from Saban, multiple people close to the Alabama program told The Athletic. That speaks to a couple of things, not the least of which is how valuable Cochran, the 40-year-old strength coach, has made himself to Saban and to the Crimson Tide. Cochran is popular with the players and with recruits and has become a large part of Alabama football. Those same people said Kiffin also has interest in Alabama secondary coach Karl Scott, former Alabama defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi and former Alabama defensive line coach Bo Davis, among others.”
Butch calls his Monica act "washing the car"? lol. Clever.Reporter: "Willie, why would you consider taking such a step down from Florida State when you have all this buyout money coming to you".
Willie: "Well, first off Nick Saban told me that Butch Jones was doing such a great job refilling his coffee and washing his car that he didn't really need any interns currently. And second, I have all this FSU gear that I haven't been able to pawn. I figured, I could just whiteout the S and fill it in with an A and I can reuse it. They told me if I was able to save money on gear, they could include that savings in my year-end bonus".
No pitcher is worth a 9 year contract. I hope the Yankees covered themselves with yearly stipulations in that big money deal. I don't think any starting pitcher, at that level, can go 9 years without major arm issues. I love the Yankees but I really think this one could bite them long term.So happy that I don't have to follow Gerrit Cole anymore.
