Who needs crimes? The house judiciary report that came out Saturday clearly laid out that crimes aren’t a requirement for impeachment. If someone doesn’t do everything just the way you like then impeach the mf’er!What I love about celebrating this is that it guarantees the next Democrat President is 100% f###ed. Thanks for setting the precedent to promise impeachment before crimes have been committed!!
Random person named “RINO hunter” claiming to be a democrat... seems about as legit as the guy who came in here earlier claiming to be a lifelong democrat but in 2014 claimed to be independent.Just bc some random twitter person claims that doesn’t make it so. I doubt anyone who identifies as a Dem is upset.
Why would the House do that? Not sure if discussed or not because this thread moves fast.
Can the House vote on impeachment then not turn it over to the Senate and instead continue to investigate while holding the articles of impeachment that have already been voted on?
If anyone knows and has a link to explain please share.
Thanks
Why would the House do that?
Why are so many on the left supporting impeachment when there is an election in 46 weeks?
TDS on display. It’s a meltdown of epic proportions - the lack of self-awareness is incredible.

This idea that we all work for the party and need to help spread misinformation to advance party interests has got to be one of the most pathetic developments in American political culture that I can remember.
It has always been a problem so not a new development. The 24 hour news cycle and availability of media has made it more prevalent and hyper partisan. We elect our leaders to make decisions for us, but now every issue is debated by the masses, just as addressed in the Federalist Papers.
Reckon Schitt will do the right thing and testify in front of the Senate? I mean, he’s the Dims star witness.
I completely understand people having strong political opinions and no doubt sharing them on this forum. I can even understand those same people, at times, adding their own emotion along with those opinions but I don't think we really need to regress into our 10 year old selves and deliberately misspell names or titles to form derogatory terms. It really just belittles whatever argument you were attempting to make and encourages people not to quote you for your immaturity. Having said that, I will state that AirVol is NOT the only poster in here guilty of it.
When Bill Clinton was impeached in December of 1998, he only had about 2 years and a month left.... AND IT WAS IN HIS 2ND TERM! House Republicans (including the Speaker, Newt Gingrich) knew they didn't have a two-thirds majority in the Senate to remove Clinton from office, so why did they go to the trouble of impeaching him when he had such little time left? The hypocrisy from the right on this question is just staggering. Why would the House do that?

Except this is Trumps 1st term and we know he has a second..When Bill Clinton was impeached in December of 1998, he only had about 2 years and a month left.... AND IT WAS IN HIS 2ND TERM! No, we don't. His average approval rating on Real Clear Politics has still never been above the 46.2% that he was elected with and he has consistently trailed Joe Biden head to head in the polls... but why does that even matter? The point is that whatever valid criticism that Republicans have for this impeachment process can be retroactively applied to the impeachment of Bill Clinton as well. It was every bit as partisan. Republicans knew that they didn't have the two-thirds majority in the Senate needed to remove Bill Clinton from office and they knew that he didn't have much time left anyway... and yet they persisted with a highly partisan impeachment.Except this is Trumps 1st term and we know he has a second..
Another difference is Clinton actually committed crimes that were documented and admitted to by him...Trumps crimes are crimes that were never committed and based solely on a few peoples personal opinions of what they could have happened if he meant what they thought he might have meant. Its like looking at girls sweater hogs and getting arrested for rape...No, we don't. That is purely suggestive of wishful thinking and not based on anything forming the basis of reality. It is just wrong to think that there will be voter apathy from the left. Trump feeds the left with energy on a daily basis. By the standard of any modern President, Trump has a very low ceiling. He has done nothing to expand his base. Democrats will crawl over broken glass to vote against him... and as for the polls? They are right far more frequently than they are wrong. I would always prefer to have them favoring my candidate - and per statistician, Nate Silver, they do.Another difference is Clinton actually committed crimes that were documented and admitted to by him...Trumps crimes are crimes that were never committed and based solely on a few peoples personal opinions of what they could have happened if he meant what they thought he might have meant. And yes, Trump has a second term coming. No democrat is going to beat him which is funny and sad. Biden gets the nod, low black voter turnout, massive voter apathy from the huge chunk of maniac crazy psychopath hard left wingers that make up most of the democrat party = Trump win easily. He beat Hillary who was literally anointed and chose by left wing Gods (media) to become the first female President of the most powerful country in the world and cementing the Clinton ruling dynasty..
After 2016 your belief in the political polling system should be extremely skeptical..I'd advise everyone here or elsewhere that goes to college to take a statistics class but also take a few general sociology classes as well so you can understand how polling works and the inherent flaws in it.
