You truly are (or at least were) independent. It's like I just saw big foot. I voted for Lamar Alexander in 78, so I'm kind of independent. Truthfully, I would gladly vote for a republican or a 3rd party if I felt they were more aligned with the issues I have prioritized.

He sits on the fence hurling rocks anyone not a Trump supporter. He has a shallow existence fueled by his hatred of Democrats. I don't know what he was like before Trump but I imagine he will cast his vote for Trump if given the opportunity in the next election.

I wasn’t kidding , I grew up and around extremely proud Democrat’s ( family , friends and neighbors ) I moved to the Midwest around Republican farmers , then back to the south in a union that believed all Rs must be eliminated at all costs . I’ve since learned that political party’s are in it for themselves and will screw me over for power , glory, and money . After that realization I’ve decided to look at it as I’m the one they need impress to earn my vote based on which one I believe will screw me over the least .

This post is a prime example of why I rated you the biggest partisan hack on the board . You have no idea what you are talking about but as long as you can say it from a liberal view point your good with it . When was the last time you voted for anyone not in your liberal party ? Have you ever ? Let’s see who has the shallow existence .

If I were in the middle on the issues, I would base my vote exclusively on who I believed to be the better person.

We are just coming at it from different angles in search of what fits for us . I instead of looking at who the better person is , look at it as more of a business transaction . My vote is extremely expensive what do you offer for it and do I believe you will be the one that will lie to me or screw me over the least . I just expect them all to lie and pander .

Bush did suck. My god he was dumb. At least that's what I thought then. Now I look back at him and think he was Albert Friggin Einstein compared to Donald.

In general, I disagree with you on why Democrats don't like Trump.

I think the DIMs and some Republicans also fear Trump. This whole Barr Investigation is likely to expose many of them for what they are. We can only hope it does anyway.

The Republicans are the party of self. You view all politics through the lens of self. (Tax cuts - hell yea, debt - not my problem.) You're a simpleton without a concept of the Government's role in society. You sit on the fence and hurl rocks at the Dems because the deplorables have your back. I will probably never vote for a Republican for President. Party over country is definitely not a value of mine, which is why I didn't vote in 2016. I'm not a religious person, I'm not a selfish person, I'm not a conspiracy nut, I'm for individual freedoms (as long as they don't infringe on others), and I believe in science. How are the Republicans going to try to get my vote? Will they tell me the Dems are going to take my guns and impose martial law? Will they tell me Trump didn't do anything wrong? Forget the Republicans because they forgot me, they forgot decency, and they forgot to tell the truth.
