Honestly none of these hires scare me:

- Kiffin will recruit well and it may impact us negatively just a bit. However, Kiffin can't stay out of his own way. He will screw things up one way or another eventually.
- Pittman is a solid coach, but has zero HC experience. Wasn't even the OC for UGA last year even though they literally just had an opening. He also may recruit well but he has a HUGE hole to climb out of. Also super excited he has left UGA.
- Drinkwitz could be solid, but you truly are rolling the dice there. No proof of recruiting. His biggest claim is he took over a really solid App State team and didn't let them fall apart. We really don't have a body of work to make a decision one way or the other.

All three of these hires were risky. Ole Miss should of went all in (overpaid) for Norvell, Arky should of hired Bill Clark, and Mizzou should of kept Odom.

Agree on all of this.

Kiffin will bring the swagger Freeze had there. We’ll see if it lasts longer than a season or two.
Arkansas just wants to be average it appears and Pittman will get them there. Let’s see how he builds that staff and if it affects us.
I don’t think Drinkwitz is a good hire at all and I liked him a lot when we almost hired him as OC. It’s going to come down to recruiting and talent evaluation and you’ve gotta nail that to be successful at Missouri.

Lol. Are you reading my post? I said just the opposite. I said I didn't take that stance. And it was more than just my circle of people. It was wide spread. I don't know if I would characterize it as most but there was a huge group of people that felt that way.

That whole team was sooo SLOW....I've not watched any of Indiana's games, but, I'm assuming their team speed will be slow.

Also he is in this position because of joe burrow. Once he leaves it will go back to being 9-3 or 10-2 and LSU fans will have to decide if that’s good enough or not. They are also about to get their staff poached too.

But go ahead die on that Sam Pittman hill lol. Ask yourself this. Would you be happy if Fulmer hireD him instead of Pruitt?

Music City Bowl gonna have more trigger happy Vol fans than Louisville fans

I live in Texas and that was my best chance to attend a bowl game with Tennessee. I'm not gonna make it to Florida. I'll just watch it on the TV. I've got friends, who live in Nashville, that can use my tickets. To me, it was worth a shot and I'm only out about $240 and that's not bad.

When was the last time LSU saw this level of success? If it is a easy as you say surely someone would have fallen into one by now. Surely Ed O is not that much better of a coach than Les Miles.

He was a surefire HIRE for SOMEONE after that season...until Arkansas, Pittman hasn’t been a candidate. Not arguing Fulmer’s GUARANTEE of success as a hire...just his legit candidacy. Not the same situation
