Calm down man. If you don't think he can coach that's fine, everyone has their perspective. Did I say they were better than UT? No. it's a simple comparison. After the UAB game everyone was up in arms that we didn't score 50 with all the superior talent. At other times you have some nominating UABs coach as someone who should get a shot at a P5 gig. Just looking at it w/o a chip on my shoulder and I think he is a good coach. Do I think it's doomsday for UT? No.

@Smokeytom I think what I read when I looked it up earlier is NOW said to have been a perhaps unrelated shooting nearby on Rock St. They are now saying that on the square at the Lights of Ozarks festival, an officer was killed in an execution style shooting. It sounds like it is thought that the multiple shots were at the first incident on Rock St nearby. The details are still coming in. I would stay inside.

Siap vols May get MCB and the payout is larger but that money goes to the SEC to be equally distributed to all members except for Missouri since they have bowl ban and that’s part of the punishment.
So we can stop saying “the payout is larger so we want mcb”. Payout means nothing except like Bruin said the sec might want to keep them happy with a better matchup since they do pay more.

Kiffin may be good at Ole Miss. He ran away from here for USC and it obviously didn't work out there. He did okay at FAU, but they play lesser competition. And he's not a bad hire for OM, but people are panicking over nothing. The UAB coach took a program from nothing to at least something. Sure, he generally plays lesser competition as well, but unlike Kiffin, he hasn't had a shot at the big time yet. I think a program like Arkansas could do far worse, and it currently looks like that's their plan, than the UAB coach.

Why does the SEC do it that way? Don’t like the socialist policy there. Some garbage program who goes to the toilet bowl shouldn’t get as much as an upper tier SEC program who goes to the Sugar Bowl. Shut up and get better if you want the money.

I’d say he did a little better than “okay” at FAU.
