The Impeachment Thread

It's kinda like the day you realize your kid won't be starting on the T-Ball team, and you just pipe down, sit back, and support the team.
That's a great analogy for what it's like when a normal repub. wins.
A better analogy for Trump's victory (for me at least) is knowing that your kid's T-Ball team is now being coached by a known child molester. I'm not the type to pipe down, sit back, and claim to support the team. I'm the type that believes that the only way to truly support the team is to do all within your power to have that coach removed. Anything short is inexcusable complicity.

Obama won every battleground state in 2008 except for Missouri (and it was very close). Check the record, he carried every one: Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Colorado, Nevada, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. That may never happen again.
Okay so how does that affect 2020, you know, 12 years later?

Just one thing wrong with your lie. Get back to your feminist websites.

There are many examples of Donald Trump's lack of civility on Twitter. Trump's default response to criticism is to either assign his critics a disparaging nick-name, attack their physical appearance or otherwise insult either their intelligence or their livelihood. He knows no high road. Trump's supporters will often defend this, as Trump being a "counter-puncher" and applaud him for "fighting back". Then, the Trump supporters will accuse anyone offended by his tweets of being a "snowflake" and also chastise them while telling them to just "lighten up".

...but now, you think that liberals should feel bad about that comment about Barron? Get real. It's not happening.

Max.
Being the eternal optimist, I continue to hold out hope that good will prevail sooner.
I continue to hold out hope that facts and the rule of law will prevail. Unfortunately, we have a President who has a bunch of sycophants in the Senate who would prefer to peddle conspiracy theories to their gullible base.

EL posted a flat out lie.

I don't really have a problem with it.

Only those on the right see her comment as an attack on Barron. She is signifying that Trump naming him Barron (as he originally wanted to name Jr.) signals his view of a Monarchy and doing as you please as opposed to elected official status and a need for conforming to the rule of law

Must have missed the testimony of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman who was also on the July 25th phone call... and the testimony of Gordon Sondland, who testified that he had the understanding that there was a quid-pro-quo arrangement being put forth by the White House. You guys have missed a lot.

Except he was named before he ran for president. Nonsensical to even suggest.

Nobody cares what the Redhated Trump supporter thinks. Nobody is trying to convince you of anything. It's not a requirement to boot that SOB out of office
A) stop being so triggered.
B) yeah you do care what those redhatters think because you don’t “boot him out of office” without 2/3 vote in a GOP senate ... which ain’t gonna happen

Alleged. In today's court of public opinion and pre-trials, one will never truly know the existence, absence, or extent of true guilt or innocence. At the end of the day, we have had very few presidents and politicians that are not of the same cloth as Trump. Yet, he is the only one that has been badgered to this extent. IMO, he is trying to do good things in office. His character may be no more compelling than the people that are trying to crucify him for winning. When Christ said let those without sin cast the first stone, the crowd dispersed.
I can accept and support a truthful and legitimate conviction of illegal activities of a presidential office. If we can get that right. We sure miss on a lot of wrongfully convicted felons. I cannot support the shady and unethical actions of the man trying to convict the president. If you bear the torch to impeach, you should remain above the water table and be above reproach. I see the people leading this charge as vile as you see Trump. How you can laud them and loath trump is contradictory.
