The Impeachment Thread

By your logic I can just make any assumption I want about you and it must be true. Noice.

I like how you skipped right over where I shot down how that assumption applies because I knew someone would go there. I exactly explained why you don’t even have the attempt of either. When the subject of the bribery or extortion doesn’t feel bribed or extorted that pretty much kills it unless you have hard evidence like a recording to prove otherwise. Hopefully that is clear enough for you.

I honestly don't follow any logic here.

Please read this piece. It's legal, but sums up the issues you seem to be batting around pretty well.

Did President Trump Commit the Federal Crime of Bribery?

TLDR...

"To the extent Trump solicited an announcement unrelated to any actual investigation, he was not soliciting an official act that may be described as part of “logrolling.” Trump thus went beyond the exchange of public acts that constitute political or diplomatic logrolling. His conduct would support a finding of an exchange of official acts (by Trump) for things of value (the public statement sought from Zelensky) and as no public justification for seeking the statement has been offered, the corrupt intent necessary to maintain a bribery charge. "

By your logic: If a person never robs a bank but other people feelings are hurt because he is mean to them, and they say he robbed it, then he should be convicted of robbing the bank.

Correct to the extent that attempted bank robbery is, in fact, a crime.

Lol. When you lose you cry about the process. Typical liberal crybaby nonsense.
I simply pointed out who had the most votes in 6 of the last 7 national elections.
It's a simple statement of fact; nothing more, nothing less.

Great self-own! All Trump and his cronies are doing right now is whining about the process, Trump whined about the process during his presser today. "it's so unfair, everybody is picking on me", and on and on and on.......he loves to play the victim card like the thin-skinned snowflake he is. All he does is whine.
